About Brigadier General Rock Donahue (United States Army, Retired)

Brigadier General Rock Donahue (United States Army, Retired) serves as chairman of the board of trustees. Serving with Georgia Military College for the past nine years in executive leadership roles, Rock is also proud veteran with more than 30 years of active federal commissioned service. His experience includes a wide range of Army, coalition, and joint command and staff positions directing high-performing units ranging in size, and functioning in complex environments in the U.S. and abroad, including combat operations in Panama, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Rock brings more than four decades of executive experience in all facets of operations, planning, training, post-secondary education, and program execution. His experience includes administering enterprise-wide multi-billion portfolios, overseeing large-scale and global programs, achieving organizational goals and objectives, leading and developing human capital. He and his wife, Nancy, are active members of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church. They have been married for more than 40 years and have four children and ten grandchildren.

Deb Crane

About Deb Crane

Deb Crane serves as secretary of the board of trustees. She enjoyed a 40-year career in corporate and legal environments, ultimately serving as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Kaydon Corporation headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. As the chief legal officer at Kaydon, Deb was responsible for managing all legal matters for the publicly-traded company. She also served as corporate secretary, which meant handling all corporate governance matters, including shareholder and board meeting preparations and minutes. Since retiring in 2013, Deb has been active in various non-profit and church organizations and activities, previously serving as chairman of Coweta Pregnancy Services, and currently serving in a  church-sponsored Good News Club and the Women on Mission ministry at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church.

Ed Williams

Treasurer

About Ed Williams

Ed Williams, CPA CGMA, serves as treasurer of the board of trustees. He brings more than 40 years of business and finance experience. Before retiring, Ed spent 17 years in executive leadership roles as the chief financial officer of a financial marketing organization and vice president of finance for a healthcare company. Prior to this, he owned a consulting practice, where he primarily worked with small companies as their chief financial officer. He spent many years in public accounting, including six years at KPMG. Ed is a member of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, where he a deacon, choir member, and services in the men’s ministry. He is a husband, father of four, and a grandpa to nine, three of whom are students at HCCA.

Bryan Nation

About Bryan Nation

Bryan Nation retired from the Clayton County Public School System in 2009, with 30 years as a supervisor in the district’s building maintenance department. In addition, he served six months as a consultant at Griffin RESA to assist with the setup of their warehousing system, and he served four years at Fayette County Schools in the warehousing and distribution department. He has been a member of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church for more than 13 years, and he currently serves as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, co-chair of the building committee, and director of Baptist Brotherhood. Bryan and his wife, Carol, have been married for 31 years. They have two daughters and six grandsons.

About David Smith

David Smith brings more than 40 years of business management experience. He is currently a sales representative for a Caterpillar equipment dealership, a second career after owning and managing his own industrial equipment company for 30 years. Prior to being an active member of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, where he is a Sunday school teacher, David was an active member of Eagles Landing Baptist Church in McDonough, Ga., where he served on a variety of church committees and in leadership positions. Additionally, he previously served on the board of trustees for Eagles Landing Christian Academy, including its initial start-up board.  David and his wife, Patricia, have three grown children who are all graduates of Christian education, and nine grandchildren.

Fred Cannon

About Fred Cannon

Fred Cannon retired after 50 years in commercial and military aviation. After starting his career at Eastern Airlines, he served in multiple executive-level operational leadership positions for the airline start-up, ValuJet, which merged with AirTran Airways and then Southwest Airlines. Following his retirement from Southwest, Fred also served as executive director of the Delta Flight Museum during museum renovation at the Delta Headquarters campus located at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. He is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an inflight refueling specialist on a KC-135Q during the Vietnam war, including supporting the legendary SR-71 reconnaissance “Blackbird.” Fred is active member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church for more than 35 years.  He and his wife Sandra have two sons and four grandchildren.

Jamie Glaze

About Jamie Glaze

Jamie Glaze brings more than a decade of experience in child development. An occupational therapist, she specializes in pediatrics with experience in the outpatient clinic setting, private schools, and schools for special needs children. She is specifically trained to look at the whole child through the lens of sensory processing, reflex integration, gross motor coordination, and fine motor coordination for optimal success. Jamie is a long-time member of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, where she also serves as a Sunday school teacher. She also established and leads the Parent Teacher Fellowship for Harp’s Crossing Christian Academy. She is a wife and a mom to three children, all of whom are students at HCCA.

Michelle Glover

About Michelle Glover

Michelle Glover brings nearly 25 years of public education experience. She currently teaches 6th grade world geography at Whitewater Middle School, where she also serves on the school leadership team and plays a prominent role in planning and facilitating the 6th grade social studies curriculum. Previously, she taught grades K-5 for 17 years. During this time, she served as grade-level chairperson, English Language Arts County Representative, Assessment Planning Committee member, and a host of other committees. She was honored as her school’s Teacher of the Year in 2015-2016. Beyond the classroom, Michelle was a Girl Scout sponsor for 12 years, and has been an active member and Sunday school teacher at Harp’s Crossing for nearly two decades. She is also a wife and a mother of four.

About Penny Steele

Penny Steele has a tenured career in client relations and a long-standing passion for serving her community. She has enjoyed an exciting career managing sales and client accounts in the airline and rental car industries for nearly 25 years. In her current role as a client services manager for DB Schenker, a global logistics and supply chain company, Penny oversees several large corporate clients in their movement of products across the world. Additionally, she helped establish and serves as president of the Parent Teacher Fellowship for Harp’s Crossing Christian Academy, and she also serves as director of Girls in Action at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, where she is an active member. Penny is the mother of two daughters, both of whom are students at Harp’s Crossing Christian Academy.

About Tiffany Green

Tiffany Green brings 20 years of business experience. She currently serves at the Chick-fil-A headquarters, where she is responsible for the effectiveness and operations of the company’s digital transformation & technology organization and also serves as chief of staff. Prior to this, she held various leadership roles in Chick-fil-A, including marketing technology, digital communications, and public relations, and she also created the company’s employee resource group, Women in Business. Previously, she led marketing communications in the not-for-profit credit union industry. Tiffany is an active member at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, where she teaches Bible classes for women and serves in the student ministry. She is married to Ricky for 19 years, and is a mom of three children, two of whom are students at Harp’s Crossing Christian Academy.

Wayne Harrison is a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Harrison Accounting & Consulting. With more than 35 years of multi-faceted experience working with a variety of industries, such as public accounting, telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution and non-profit organizations, Wayne’s passion is making businesses operate more effectively and efficiently. In addition to accounting, he also brings experience in human resources, logistics, management, training, business valuation, due diligence, budgeting and forecasting. A member of Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, Wayne serves as a deacon and is married to Debi for more than 34 years; they have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
